THE KITIST

Little Jhanvi, a third grade student in a school in Dubai came along with her parents Jayakrishnan and Reshmi to witness the appreciable and spectacular kite show that was hosted on the background of Dubai Outlet Mall on to the Dubai Al- Ain Rd. It was the second time for Jhanvi attending the event. Earlier it was Jumeria an year two back.  Mathangi, in her 7 years of age some thing compounded for her child hood kiting was something a new but could never looked odd! She was accompanied by mother. Soon she become close to kite, yet not on a conventional model seen on the pictures. She was restless couldnt wait for the kite work shop to begin.  A power sled was made for them! DIY. While Jhanvi got a lite yellow in color kite where as Mathangi liked white with red vent. They couldn't resist to defy the wind!!! It become irresistible ofcourse that's the inner sense of every kite enthusiasts. All you do to ask them !!! Hahaha. Energy that gets by virtue of flying in the clear

This is perhaps I am in 5th time in Dubai for the kite festival. Thanks to my friend Tam n Zona. The festival was conducted on the background of Dubai OutLet  Mall on the Dubai Al- Ain Rd. The desert began active with our kites in the skyline hosting train kites followed by Theyyam on the series and the ring. Soon after it takes that the kites brought in by conventional kite fighters which are very avidly seen in the kite festivals here took over the space whose interest only lured in kite cutting of the opponent. Says "page ledana"!!!! Skyline filled in no time with the peculiar designed kites by friends from Pakistan scrolled aloft in the clear blue skyline and eventually when the kites we were flying got cut down knowingly or unknowingly​ that was the time we remembered in India in some field we had the same experience even ended up loosing kites. We lost a kite here as well. We can't help it as the kind of feel one had towards kite fighting sense it never goes down.

Kiting is an universal fascination and so the making. Its an old tradition in countries since over centuries.  India is one of the largest kite flying nation compared to many countries. Over the years kite dynamics have changed a lot and resort new thoughts unleashing new ideas and its intensity towards as a leisure game and sports. This dimension paved a way for many kiters becoming professional in concept, imagination, art besides making it inculcating the cultural asthetics that paused a new look in the overall development of kite making and increase its possibilty to visually spectacular when concurring the blue sky. kites doesnt have any shapes or theme today it has grown from a mere 'K' for Kite yet to a larger than life size or say unimaginable stable structures that float aloft in the sky.  Also to the fact that flying very high is also gradually declining since the creative aspects and its visual feast takes a front seat when it comes to show kite festivals.
